What started as a two-person set up that survived the dotcom bust was formally incorporated in its current avatar – as an online digital interactive agency – called Dreamscape Media Private Limited in 2004.

 

Dreamscape has worked on over 2500 web projects (some of them award-winning, though all of them deserving) for over 250 satisfied clients. It’s dedicated, quirky team shares a single vision: the web can change your future and we’re here to help you achieve that.

Team

CEO
Saumil Gandhi is so relaxed and easygoing that his own team often wonders if he’s the real ‘dynamic, young CEO’ that TV shows and magazines describe to be or rather the only guest on a luxury liner with no demands, except for a box of altoids (“if it’s no bother!”). Nothing much has changed for him since he co-founded the company, for besides a newfound penchant for a perfectly tailored dish of eggs benedict, he still ensures his team delivers the very best. It is this quality that has helped establish Dreamcape as one of the foremost online agencies in the country.



Chief Visualizer
Rizwan Shirgaonkar is so quick on the mouse and keyboard, it’s like thoughts emanate from his fingertips. We shudder to think what would happen if the brain stem came into play. He is also sometimes referred to as Peter Griffin.



Design Lead
Rajesh Nikam is Dreamscape’s Rock of Gibraltar. Seriously, if you were a ship, you’d sink. He's always the last man standing, though we think it might have something to do with his appetite. Legend has it that he once breakfasted on 160 puris and then went on to make a gentle design for a bank who called us to say “This is so minimalist… so lean! Put some meat in there!”



CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Karan Anshuman’s obsessive nature in regard with most activities in life - from food to film - spills over, conveniently for Dreamscape, to his work. Everything has to be cutting edge, there are no short cuts, and he loves a cutting chai. Battle-scarred from several client meetings where the other party insisted on using Comic Sans, he's managed to keep his head about him despite that mad (he calls it 'inspired') look in his eye. With a background in cinema and design, it is no surprise that he managed to eke out some breakthrough creative ideas that helped Dreamscape herald the 2.0 revolution in India.



Lead Developer

Bhaskar Sharma, when he first joined Dreamscape, he let out a yelp what briefly translated into “What a mess, now I have to fix it.” and dove under tables, strove into closets and backrooms, squeezed into the false ceiling and AC ducts and emerged having re-networked the entire office. The difference? We now save Rs. 5 a month on our internet bill. Lucky for us he has some other skills too. Cricket is not one of them.



Accounts Girl
Charu Kini is always MIA except when it’s (and this is exactly how she says it—) “taaaax tiiiime!” and also at lunch when she seems to be devouring the same dish that Meg Ryan was thought to be eating in When Harry Met Sally.
